Objectives:
- Discuss the impact of an individual’s actions and attitudes on others
- Experience challenges that pose risk to even the most effective team
- List dimensions of diversity in the workplace
- Define implicit and explicit attitudes
- Apply methods to avoid and address conflict while acknowledging difference
- Discuss ways to influence others and create positive working environments
- List characteristics of optimum performing teams
- Develop a process for understanding others and strengthening relationships
- Participate in activities that will help attendees understand what happens when co-workers do not effectively communicate
